lusikka (7819) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 3, 2013
330 ml bottle. Vintage 2009. Rated on 26.2.2013.
Pours a murky orange colour with a white head. Aroma of strong tangy spiciness, citrus and lemon zest. Some glue-like elements. Flavour of strong sweet malts, caramel, yeast, spices and a lot of alcohol. Medium bodied, thin mouthfeel and low carbonation. Burning alcohol finish with some spiciness. Interesting to try but far from being enjoyable.

Benzai (16311) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - DEC 8, 2012
Bottle @ home. Clear colored like leaves in the fall, no head at all. Smell sweetness and malts. Taste malts, sweetness, alcohol, mint and weird. Completely flat.

kermis (14348) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 7, 2012
Bottle shared, 2 years old. Pours cloudy dark yellow with a tiny off white head. Aroma is fruity, yeast, sweet but a little sour. Flavour is medium sweet and bitter with a light sourness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Suspecting this was past it’s best..

fugitive (2027) - Athens, GREECE - MAY 14, 2012
Bottle. Color unclear yellow with small head. Aroma malt, yeast, fruity, coriader. Taste malt, alcohol, spicy, citrus, fruity.

saxo (18961) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - APR 19, 2012
Bottled. Best before 2014! No CO2, no head and very flat. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, malt, fruits, hops and warming alcohol.

TheJestersBeer (2430) - SWEDEN - MAR 18, 2012
330ml bottle. Medium amber, thin white head. Quite spicy aroma, lots of dried fruits, apricots, marzipan, almonds, more like a Barley Wine than a Saison. Semi-sweet, medium body and bitterness, very low CO2. Fruity, cloying taste, dried fruits, yeast, marzipan, walnuts, leather, tobacco, alcohol. Bottled in 2009, will last 5 years according to label – no way! (2012-03-16)

Ungstrup (38156) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 25, 2012
Bottled. A hazy red beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of pepper, yeast, lemons, and other fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, caramel, as well as some spices and lemons, leading to a thick finish, where the alcohol warms the palate. A bit thick for my liking of a Saison.

deanso (10015) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - DEC 15, 2011
33cl bottle. 2 years old. Sour aroma but sweet taste. Cloudy blond pour. Quite nice when aged.

Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 13, 2011
Bottle: Had this one back in 2009: Small and quick disappearing lightly off white head on top of a hazy orange to darker orange colored beer. Smell some fruit, yeast, hay, hops and light citrusy. Taste is light sweet from malt and yeast, some fruity notes and a light bitterness. The aftertaste is a bit short, light sweet and lighter bitter.

diabel (1721) - Aarschot, BELGIUM - NOV 13, 2011
Orange, muddy body. Sweet, malty, citric (oranges) uninteresting aroma. Moderately sweet, lightly bitter flavour. Lacks some carbonation.
