33cl bottle 1208. Lacking carbonation. lassem (652) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 14, 2010
Slightly hazy dark golden with hardly any head. The aroma is filled with bready malt, on top of dried fruits, spices and a little alcohol. Flat and sweet vineous flavour with bready malt and a spicy finish. I assume if if it had gotten the right carbonation it would also have been drier, which would have been an advantage.
Bottle from Ølbutikken - Beer 33 cl. stamped nr. 153. Appereantly its Molen day for me today...and normally that meens a good day. The pour is surprisingly low on carbonation. Its dark hazy yellow without any head what so ever - almost like granmas old freshly pressed apple juice. The nose is malty with hints of fruity vinegar and a thick undifinable sweetness. Its flat so flat witout any carbonation - thats what hits you first - it doesn’t suit it. Some hops and sweet sourness leaves an unpleassant bitterness with a sweet finish where tha alcohol is up front. I’m not happy. The palate is oily - like a thick juice or thin smoothie...damn Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - FEB 14, 2010
Bottle at home. Pours a dead flat hazy orange without any form of a head. Fruity spicy aroma. Bittersweet fruity flavor with some peach and spices. A little too sweet. No carbonation at all which makes it more of an alcoholic lemonade syrup with too little water added. Would be a lot better with at least a little carbonation. omhper (24973) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 5, 2010
Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Hazy orange with lots of sedimant, no head, no carbonation. Ric aroma of sweaty hay, flora strawberries and estery alcohol. Very sweet, fruity and potent, Near full bodied, rich on hops withvery evident alcohol. Salty very bitter finish. Huge in character and rather soft, albeit flat.. Very flavourful, but not very elegant. Most de Molens these days seem to have either no or excessve carbonation. KimJohansen (10492) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - FEB 3, 2010
Clear amber with a tiny white head. Sourish aroma with hints of apples, yeasty and malty notes. Flavour had sourish apples, yeasty, malty and hints of caramel. Finished dry.
