CBF09. From tap. Pours murky orange with a small white head. Yeasty and hoppy aroma. Sweet and slight peppery yeasty flavoured. Light yeasty spiced and yet crisp hoppy fruity and bitter. Sweet malt and bitter finish. Nice one.
Bottled. A hazy red beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of pepper, yeast, lemons, and other fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, caramel, as well as some spices and lemons, leading to a thick finish, where the alcohol warms the palate. A bit thick for my liking of a Saison. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 16, 2009

Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Hazy orangeish amber colour with mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is caramel, some mild barnyardy notes as well as earth, and some sugary sweet notes (the alcohol?). Flavour is quite much the same in a very nice balance. Smooth. Flavour hides the alcohol quite well.
Bottle at Monk’s Cafe, shared with tarheels86. Golden color, nearly flat. Aroma of butter. Taste is spoiled butter and oil. cgarvieuk (25992) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 17, 2010
Bottle at post De Molen 30 bottle breakfast ... light amber ... bright yeasty nose ... bitter peel ... lof of pine ... again a little yeast. omhper (25750) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 5, 2010
Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Hazy orange with lots of sedimant, no head, no carbonation. Ric aroma of sweaty hay, flora strawberries and estery alcohol. Very sweet, fruity and potent, Near full bodied, rich on hops withvery evident alcohol. Salty very bitter finish. Huge in character and rather soft, albeit flat.. Very flavourful, but not very elegant. Most de Molens these days seem to have either no or excessve carbonation. madmitch76 (25568) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 29, 2011

2009 bottle. Still lively, clear amber with a decent cream colour head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, good fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, some cream. Light touch of dried fruits and crystallised fruits. Still a little a peppery alcohol here. Smooth semi dry finish. Warming afterglow. Decent.
