Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Lightly hazy ruby colour, creamy head. Tart aroma of caramel and cherry. Sweet and merium bodied, well rounded. Caramelly and yeasty with the faintest hint of peat. Mildly warming with low bitterness. Koelschtrinker (20399) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 29, 2011
11/8/9/8/10/9

Dark muddy red brown color, small steady off-white head. Nose is earthy, sweet licorice and oak.Medium-bodied. Sour. Intensive wood, earth, some dark malts, some peat. Suprisingly this is very similar to regular De Molen Bloed, Zweet & Tranen I had earlier this year.

Bottle, 7.7% at LCRBM08. Good roasted aroma, slightly creamy. Very nice creamy, malty and nutty, as if nuts were added. Pleasant carbonation. bierkoning (13355) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - OCT 27, 2008
Bottle @ LCRBM 2008. Brown color. Malt, peat, flowery hops and butter in the aroma. Malty sweetish, slightly peaty flavor with roast and a hint of butter. Fairly well balanced beer. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - DEC 7, 2008
Trade with Fonefan. 2008 bottle. It is hazy, nice red-brown with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of peat, smoke, malt and caramel. The flavour has sweetness and notes of smoke, light peat, malt, caramel and nuts. I love a smoked beer, if the sweetness is low. This is good, but a tiny bit too sweet. deanso (10140) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - APR 16, 2016
75cl bottle shared at the Jim/John is back tasting.
thin off white head. Very hazy amber pour. No peat and slightly infected. Still not bad. JorisPPattyn (10002) - Ursel, BELGIUM - OCT 26, 2008
Small yellowish head, gone in seconds over fully hazy brown beer with a yellow & purple shine. Sweet nose, raisins, nuts, fusels. Old nuts, old bread, sweet flavours with very little bitterness whatever. Like oxydized, but not oxydized. In the same vein, I do not find any smoked/phenolic notes. Light to medium bodied, but very slick. A bit dull, not very impressive, liked the other Molen Bocks more.
