Draught @ pré-ZBF 09 @ Alvinne: Alvinne-Struise beerfest.yespr (47545) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 7, 2009
Unclear hazy medium to dark orange - red amber color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sour, berry, raisin, prune, wood. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet, light acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy - smooth, carbonation is soft to flat.
From tap. Pours hazy deep orange to brown with a small dense and tan head. Sweet, milky and wooden to light alcohol note from the whisky. Caramelish and sweet impression. Mild milky to a whisky dense caramel malt base. Nice blend which gives a distinct more "serious" malt base form the whisky compared to many other flemish oud bruins, as a consequence the body is more full and smooth. Smooth wineous and malty finish. Nice one. Ungstrup (38384) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 26, 2009

Pre-ZBF ... ruby copper ... big creamy tan head ... creamy soft fruity nose ... orange ... sweet juicy hop ... light bitter ... little blood oarnge. omhper (25740) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 9, 2009
Bottled at PBF (5.7%). Hazy nut brown, small head. A whiff of vinegar starts it off. Sweet buttery malt with some roastiness and oak carries it on over a medium body with a bit of yest and fruit. Finally it mellows out with low bitterness. Quite interesting. madmitch76 (25568) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 29, 2011
