Arms, Vasagatan (backlog). Hazy goldeny orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral and mild catpissy notes along with some yeastiness. Flavour is very similar, and has a rather strong bitter bite to it.
Draught at Plan B, Copenhagen, listed at 8% ABVanders37 (27621) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 11, 2010
Cloudy golden color; small head. The aroma shows initially some fermentation by-products, then a mild sweet fruitness takes over (apricots and tangerine), with light Belgian yeast spiciness. Malt flavor, sweeter than your average Belgian, with some coriander, some mellow fruits, but also a shady tartness that can be sign of a very light infection, and increases the bitterness feeling. Without this last point, it would be a pleasant sweet-fruity Ale, a crossover Between Belgian and American styles.
Draft @ Bishops Arms Savoy, Malmö. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma. FRuity malty hoppy citrus flavor. Has a sweetish malty fruity hoppy bitter finish. Nickls (2617) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - AUG 19, 2010
Tap. Pours with a nice finger of slightly off-white head; OK retention and curtain-like lacing. Very hazy light brown/murky orange color. Aroma is tame, mild citrusy hop, almost US-inspired, but some messier graininess and a light fruit finish overcome the hops in the flavor. Silky, lighter body with soft carbonation. OK drinking, but middle of the road for the style. thewolf (12946) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUL 25, 2010

Pours clear coppery amber with a big, staying, creamy, offwhite head. Lots of bubbles surching upwards. Pleasant fruity hops aroma, lots of grapefruit, slightly soapy, some pine and red apples. High carbonation, rather dry and slightly light mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet at first, fairly malty. Then a soft note of hops, light resiny, piney and quite fruity spreads. Finish is lightly warming vinious and with a firm bitterness. Quite a good IPA, but there are far better examples. For De Molen, this is one of the cleaner ones in the style.
From tap at Plan B. Pours hazy to murky with a small tan head. Aroma is peachy and grapefruity. Fruity and peachy flavoured. Sweet fruity impression, yet also rather dry hoppy. Light bodied. Bitter and citrusy finish. Nice fruity brew. caesar (7398) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - APR 3, 2010
UPDATED: APR 30, 2010 Bottle. Hazy orange color, short white head. Aroma of piney hops, grapefruit. Sharp bitterness, piney. Good malty body. Strong taste for such low alcohol. skortila (6013) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - MAR 8, 2010
75cl. Bottle. The aroma is a bit yeasty and has citric and piney hops. Hazy, yellow-orange coloured beer with a thin, white head. The taste is bitter, crisp, piney and citric. Ligh-medium bodied IPA. Okay. NoiZe (2394) - Zeist, NETHERLANDS - FEB 28, 2010
Hazy orange colored brew. Crispy, floral hoppy aroma. Very balanced flavor. Mild hopped, fruits, nice bitter aftertaste. Very pleasant and balanced. dutchbeerpages (2439) - Wilnis, NETHERLANDS - FEB 18, 2010
Hmmm, that great flowery IPA smell. Beer has a white foamy head that stays intact for quite a while. Slightly reddish.
Usually I find IPA’s too hoppy, but this is a great example of flavor surpassing the bitterness. Another Molen great.
