Bottle @ home. Hazy brown pour, no head. Aroma of balsamic vinegar, oak, varnish and some dried fruits. Flavor is slightly sour balsamic and slightly roasty. Low carb, bit thin body but delicate and well balanced. Interesting brew. dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JAN 16, 2013
Bottle @ tasting. Aroma is roasty malt, solvent, tart cherries, prune and more. Flavour is dry and tart cherry bretty notes, combined with a smooth roasty dark malt note. Some liquorice and sharp tartness fading into smoothness. Nice. Benzai (16918) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JAN 3, 2013
75cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Very nice dark brown to black color with a deep dark red glow coming through. Aroma has sourness and brett. Taste is a bit similar, light to moderately sour, brett, red fruits, a bit basement aromas. Soft mouthfeel, not a very long lasting aftertaste. Not bad but it could use a bit more of everything. Still quite decent though. DutchDrebus (6323) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JAN 3, 2013
Bottle @ benzai thx to benzai. Dark brown colour with no head. Smells sour, wine, wood, malts. Tastes sour, milky, chocolate, roasty and dusty. Like a superficial Flemmish brown. No carbo, medium body. uckelman (813) - Durham, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2012
75cl bottle, bottled on 11 Oct 2012. Pours reddish brown, no head. Aroma is strongly sour, with a hint of red fruit (rhubarb and cranberries, maybe?). Most of the sourness is on the front of the taste, with the darker malt flavors on the finish. The mouthfeel is thin, but right for a porter. Very pleasing.

75cl, as De Molen Wilde Porter (Barrel Aged), new exclusive Dutch brew Anno 2011, from De Bierkoning Amsterdam, complex sour Porter, malty/woody and slightly sour/roasted, very balanced, cloudy, nearly no head, good brew erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - NOV 10, 2012
Almost no head, just some beige bubbles. Dark amber body, hazy. Bready and chocolate base and a refined hop but really mostly about the wild funk. Not as complex as I expected though - the sourness seems to lighten the body. Only a light, smooth carbonation. Taste has more of the interesting interplay of sourness and creamy malts chocolate malts that I was expecting. And done well! Ending has a warming feel and some dry bitterness. It really grows on me as well. Nice malt and fun balance. Nice! (75cl bottle from De Bierwinkel Leiden, very friendly priced) Bullit (4801) - Buffalo, New York, USA - SEP 8, 2012
Bottle at Rooie Dop Brew Dungeon. Hazy brown colour, tan head. Foaming was excessive and continuous. Nose is brett, funky, fruity, bit of toastiness and bit of chocolate. Flavour has a slight roastiness, brett, medium sour, yeasty. Interesting. sunevdj (4143) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - FEB 28, 2012
Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Pours a muddy brown with and off-white head. Smells of brett. Sweet with some bitterness. Aromas of barnyard and brett. Also hints of grass and cask wood. Medium to full bodied. Long dry finish. jess_scott15 (45) - - JAN 21, 2012
Pours a dark brown with a thin body. It’s a bit sour with some licorice, raisin and dark fruit flavors. An interesting and tasty beer.
