22/IX/17 - on tap @ Borefts Bierfestival 2017 (Bodegraven) - BB: n/a (2017-1635) Thanks to ratebeerians and friends for sharing today's beers!

Clear dark brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: sweetish, malty, lots of caramel, nice stuff, dried fruits, charcoal, roasted, alcohol. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very roasted, lots and lots of chocolate, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: roasted, coffee, charcoal, pretty bitter finish. Love the chocolatey start, but the finish is a bit too bitter roasted and unpleasant.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2017. Pitch black with a beige head. Sweetish, malty and moderately roasty aroma of milk chocolate, coffee, hazelnut and some vanilla. Very sweet, malty and moderately roasty taste of milk chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, vanilla and some raisins, followed by a long, rather roasty-bitter, earthy-dry and slightly boozy finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!
