UPDATED: FEB 1, 2017 Impressive very deep brown colour that carries on into the colour of the foam. Not much foam though. Chocolate, coffee, raisins, fig bread in the smell. Full-bodied. Coffee, chocolate, fig bread, cacao, hint of grapefruit, cream. Long finish. madmitch76 (27181) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 17, 2017

Borefts VIII. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy dark tan head. Smooth palate. Soft but rich dark malts, mild dark malt cream. A little emulsion paint. Mellow smooth espresso. Light spice. Smooth dry finish. Decent, just lacks a little pixie dust.
On tap at Borefts Beer Festival, 2016. Pours black with medium tan head. Roasted malts, lots of coffee, cocoa, sweet with bitter coffee finish. Smooth. Full bodied, soft carbonation. Very good. Habanero (4976) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - DEC 30, 2016
Bottled. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, cocoa and licorice notes. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry with bitter notes. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice Impy indeed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 melush (5221) - SPAIN - DEC 23, 2016
