33 cl bottle @ Timo A.
Pours clear dark red color with a large lasting head. Hoppy aroma, Sorachi Ace peaks through a bit, caramel, herbal. Flavor is caramel-y, bitterness, some orange notes, malts. Quite alright, a bit too strong carbonation, Sorachi Ace stays hidden luckily.

330 ml bottle. From a trade with Mallorn. Thanks Ivo! Dark reddish brown color with a big foamy grayish beige head. Sweet roasted malt, licorice and darkish hops in the aroma. The flavor is sweetish malt, licorice, hops, roasted malt and mild bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from het Biermoment, BB 12/01/2018, 33 cl sample. Dark color, medium rocky brown head. Aroma of smokey bacon and ham, dark fruity and earthy malt, and piney and earthy hop. Soft bitterness in taste, earthy, slight caramelly sweetness, bit dry smokey bacon. Way too high in carbonation, which is a pity as it has quite some potential.

33cl Bottle from Vonk. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma is floral, lemon zest, lime leaves, some grapefruit, soft smoke, hint of band-aid. Flavour is light smokey, some grapefruit, liquorice, roast, earth, aluminium, all very watery and flavours don’t last long. Light bodied, over-carbonated like all of their beers I’ve had so far. Nice aroma, disappointing taste.

Flesje@ beer kefeke Flores. Zwart van kleur, veel kraag die blijft. Ruikt licht rokerig, citrushoppig. Smaakt licht rokerig, hoppig, licht citrus fruitig, tikje zuur.

Dick hoppy in the middle of it all. Vorher ledrig brettlastige Smokyness in the Nasi. Bemerkte ich allerdings erst beim Löschversuch meines selbstgewählten SYNDERS OF HANOVER JALAPENO PREZEL PIECES Overdose Rausches. Erfolglos!!!!! ☺

Sampled at Brewda 2016. Near black with a big tan head. Aroma of roast, grassy hops, light smoke and tobacco notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with disturbingly high carbonation. [03-09-2016]

Bottle 33cl. Poured into a teku glass. Opaque dark brown, huge thick creamy tan head, good retention, heavy lacing; smoky aroma, smoked meat, roasted malts, light cocoa; taste light sweet and medium bitter, malty, roasted, dark chocolate, light licorice, bit metallic; dry bitter finish, lingering roast and smoke notes; thin body, watery to oily texture, average carbonation; not completely convincing, misses body.

Bottle at a tasting. Moderate smoky and roasty element in this otherwise restrained and balanced beer. Rather bitter. Moderately drinkable.
