Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear dark orange to amber with a small to medium white head and an aroma of exotic fruits, mango, citrus fruits, oranges, grapefruit, sweet malts, pine, toffee and brown sugar. The taste is medium sweet with a medium body, light carbonation and a medium lasting bitter finish.

Bottle from Biernavigatie. Aroma is piney hops, orange, mild tropical fruits, biscuity malt, grapefruit, lots of pine resin and a mild touch of caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet with a long bitter finish. Body is medium. Nicely resinous, could be a bit more aromatic perhaps, that being said this is a pretty smooth and very drinkable IIPA that pushes the right buttons. Well done Gijt.

Helder roodbruin bier met veel stevig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en fruitig met iets van citrus, thee, ananas, lichte karamel toon en iets zoetig.

0.33 l bottle from ’Drankenspeciaalzaak van Haastregt/Lamers’, best before January 2019. Clear, dark brownish amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, rather resiny and moderately fruity aroma of orange jam, mango, pine and a touch of honey. Quite sweet, slightly bitter, rather resiny, herbal and moderately fruity taste of orange jam, mango, lots of pine, tea leaves and some honey, followed by a medium long, rather dry-bitter, resiny and slightly herbal finish. Over medium-bodied, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. On the resiny side, quite dry, rather demanding, but overall really enjoyable!
