Sample @ Stadsbrouwhuis, Leiden. Ambre, brune col beige.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 1/15, at Viisi Penni, 20150220) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had liquorice, sea water, herbalness and caramel. Palate was rather full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, liquorice, burnt malts, mild sourness and low bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, midly sour and bitter. A little bit too sweet brew.

Post Borefts Tasting, Tulip Hotel Room 118. Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Airy dry palate. Sourish dark malts, sour lactose or something. Little tangy coffee. Light dry finish. Dont like the off milky flavour here.

Bottle at the Room 118 tasting, Tulip Hotel Bodegraven, post BBF 6 day 1 26/09/14 thanks to whomever shared this one. Light black with a moderate tan covering. Nose is earthy, roast malt, light smoked. Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, spice, touch of lactics, leather. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so - doesnt do the ABV justice.
