Shared with wim at my home. Clear blond colored beer with small white head and no carbonation visible. Herby hopped aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is malted sweet bitter.

From tap at De Cantine. Nice beer to go with the stamppot. Backlog from 2014/08/18.

330 ml bottle. BB 9/2016. (Albert Heijn) Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Hazy golden color with a small white head. Sea water, yeast, mild fruitiness and sweet maltiness in the aroma. The flavor is hops, mild bitterness, malt and some fruitiness. I wouldn’t recognize that this is Kölsch.

0.33 l bottle from local AH, best before July 2016. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Grassy, slightly citrusy aroma of hay, grains and hints of lemon. Slightly bitter, grassy taste of hay, grains and hints of lemon, followed by a slightly bitter, grassy-hoppy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very classical approach to this style, not really interesting or tasty, just drinkable and refreshing. Okay.

Een subtiel bittere nasmaak blijft even hangen. A cloudy, slightly yellow colored beer with a firm, white layer of foam. A nice an sweet aroma which resembles the aroma of strawberry jam. This returns in the taste for a second, but it quickly becomes bitter. A subtile bitter aftertaste remains.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2015 Pale, hazy color with huge head. Aroma has lemon notes, something like a witbier. Taste starts really fresh, with some dough and slightly tart, lemony notes. Carbonation is on the high side and the body is quite light. Overall it’s a decent, refreshing beer.

Geiserich (4595) - Linz, AUSTRIA - JUL 15, 2015
Bottle: Sweetish, yeasty aroma, grass hops. Cloudy dark yellow color, white head. Flavor is light sweet with some hints of malt and caramel, also some acid, shy fruitiness, grass hops and light citrus peel bitterness. Not very interesting.

Kind hazy with a big foamy head. There’s a ton of sediment in the bottle so once it’s emptied the beer becomes almost murky. Aroma grainy and sweet. Heavy, without the crispness you’d expect from a kolsch. Taste follows aroma, grainy and sweet, way too heavy and lacking crispness. This is not kolsch, and not good.

ruigo (3080) - PORTUGAL - JUN 30, 2015
33cl bottle. Clear light amber colour with almost no head. Caramel, sweet and yeast in the aroma. Soft carbonation and light body. Taste is light but sweet. Overall, a boring but drinkable beer.

Loving it... once my sister brought this beer for me from the Netherlands to Spain where I live.. I enjoyed it so much that I started to look for sales points around my location and luckily I found a shop about 1.5 hours drive from my place but it is worth it !
