COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A glowing blond beer for the dark days. The fresh character of Willeke will embrace and warm you. Het paradepaardje van de Prael. Deze tripel volgens Belgische traditie waarin de koriander een dominante rol heeft gekregen is mild zoet en kruidig. Gebrouwen in 2014: 202 hl.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2017 Frisch vom Hahn im Brauereipub getrunken. Der Antrunk schmeckt nach dem Abwaschwasser. Und der Alkohol ist extrem gut versteckt.

Wel erg zoet voor een tripel. Laag aan koolzuur en ietwat vlak van smaak. Maar steviger voor een tripel.

mmh. not really a tripel I will buy again. It is okay, but it lacks identity.

Color: Little bit hazy red/orangish golden. Very thin head. Taste: Wheat, pretty sweet, sugars, hints of honey, licorice and some orange notes. Moderate carbonation. Absolutely not my kind of beer, too sticky sweet.

Long time since I drank this... Bottle pours hazy golden/amber coloured, with hardly any white head. Aroma is malty, sweetish yellow fruits, spicy (probably the coriander). Taste same, but also with a light soury freshness, and a short bitterness in the finish; little unclear, actually. Low on the carbo. I’m less impressed than I hoped, with this 25 yr experienced Amsterdam brewery, but after having drunk so many others (and better).

Weizenbieroptik. Dezenter Stylesmell. Floral und hefig. Im Mund viele weisse Trauben. Dann alles sehr leicht und bekömmlich. 0,3/4,20€. Tap. FOODHALLEN Amsterdam.

Bottle thanks to Nihtila. Appearance - golden with a thinner head than expected. Nose - herbal and dried lemon peel. Taste - honey and banana. Dried lemon. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish Overall - good but underwhelming for the style.
