Very dark reddish brown. Bubblegum, ripe prunes, fresh figs, candy sugar. Medium bodied, slick feel. Very, very sweet. Not for everyday, but very good aroma.

In the series of tasting Prael beers again since years... Very dark pour with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, brown sugar, caramel, also little licorice, little coffee. Taste accordingly, more than medium sweet with caramel; alcohol. This is absolutely a nice beer, but not very rich for this type of beer to make it really special.

Bottle thanks to Nihtila. Appearance - dark brown with red chinks. A decent head. Nose - molasses and burnt sugar. Taste - more of the same. Caramel. Nuts. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a long dry crunchy finish. Overall - solid but a little lacking in body for the alcohol level.

Cola brown. Razor thin head that vanishes in seconds. Strong aroma of burnt brown sugar. Fairly boozy. Some notes of rum.

Bottle at home. 11% abv. Aroma is malt, strong burnt caramel, toffee, huge raisins, dried fruits, yeast, brown sugar, touch of spices. Flavour is quite massively sugary sweet and sticky. Body is medium to full. Sorry fellas, this is simply too sugary toffee sweet for my taste, besides, it lacks the complexity of a good Quad.
