Pours with a thick head with large bubbles. Looks like my urine after a hard night of drinking. A very subtle aroma, can’t really pinpoint any peticular scents. Flavor is mildly Belgian, not as powerful as I would have hoped. Some yeast and sweet honey with a bit of alcohol. Very easy to drink. Decent, not great. footbalm (1219) - Western Minneapolis Suburbs, Minnesota, USA - JAN 1, 2007
God damn, this Brewery is killing me. I have had a few brews from them and they absolutely suck. This one is not exception. I know that this is a lousy rating but this thing is just plain shitty. There isn’t any flavors I can pull out and put a name on. glkaiser (1214) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 29, 2006
Nice golden blond with big head. Very strong yeasty aroma. Light carbonation and mouthfeel make this easy to drink. Lots of spice in the taste with more hops than expected. Overall, a very light, hoppy and drinkable belgian. Enjoyable. Dickinsonbeer (5073) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 10, 2006
Thanks to Willblake for sharing this at capt lawrence RB gathering. Pours a nice medium gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma is mostly phenolic and yeasty with lots of bubblegum hints- almost like double bubble - minty as well. Nice yeasty and doughy flaovr with some cookie dough malts, nice citrusy hops- lemony and orange peel as well as clovey phenols. Body and mouthfeel are a bit lgiht due to a high carbonation but overall is a nice blegian ale. hophead75 (2012) - Largo, Florida, USA - DEC 10, 2006

(750ml bottle) Cloudy golden body with large off-white head with good retention, nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, Belgian yeast, fruit (melon, apricot), syrup, some alcohol. Taste is moderately sweet, melon/apricot, yeast, some orange, candi sugar, syrup, herbal/grassy, alcohol. Medium body, some stickiness. notalush (5955) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - DEC 1, 2006
Bottle from Santa - this tastes much like the diabolique I had last night - light and refreshing, with a medium honey sweetness, coupled with notes of wildflower, light spices, lemon zest, and a slight peppery quality - much like the diabolique, it’s nice, but lacks depth. kenb (1102) - Oregon, USA - OCT 17, 2006
12 oz bottle via Reid (thanks kevin!). Pours a clear golden blonde with a large white head. Spicey belgium yeast aroma. Very easy drinking. Flavors of bananna, peach, pear, Belgium yeast, lots of carbonation in the somewhat sourish and crisp dry finish. Easy to drink and refreshing. mjg74 (3199) - La Mesa, California, USA - OCT 4, 2006
Bottle, Liquid Solutions. Pours a dark golden/copper color. Strong and sweet yeasty aroma. Quite a bit of spiciness. Almost a citric fruity quality. Sweet and malty flavors right up front. Some fruity qualities along with spice. Good mouthfeel. A full flavored Belgian Ale. A little more kick and this would be outstanding. Immy (1958) - Virginia Beach, USA - SEP 9, 2006
C&C 750. Clear gold with a thick white head. Yeasty nose, sweet, fruity. Lively, carbonated, bouncy body. Yeasty flavor, spicy hop, lightly fruity, bready notes. Good - and relatively cheap to boot!
