Tasted from draft. Pours a cloudy orange with white head. Aroma of orange, tropical fruit and earthy yeast. Taste is orange, peach, belgian yeast. Heavy malt sweetness. Hint of coconut. Slight bitterness at the end. Excellent mouthfeel. Really clings to the palate. Medium bodied. Really a well balanced beer. I really like this beer. Hides the alcohol very well. Another great beer by cigar city. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Peach, orange, yeast and malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Sweet orange pulp, malt and alcohol flavor. Fruity and boozy.

29 sept 2013, bottle. Light orange, no bubbles. Nose is rock candy, sugary cereal malt. Med body and mildly fizzy. Candy caramel, rock candy, Belgian string ale yeast. Ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours with a hazed fully gold hued body, with a large and just barely off white head. Good lace. Interesting aroma: baking flower and definitely tropical: toasted coconut, pineapple, vanilla, piña colada, alcohol and tuberose flowers. Dried apricot. A bit of floral-home sweetness. Flavors are bitter and a bit green with some odd sweetness at the end. Toasted coconut, lightly acidic and metallic. Toasty. Bitterness is a bit distracting. Light stone fruit, light bready malt. Off dry, medium body, medium to medium high carbonation. A bit odd. As it warms, and drinking in volume, the sweetness and bitterness become unappetizing and distracting.

750 ml bottle into chalice, bottled on 4/26/2013. Pours lightly cloudy golden orange color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big peach, lemon zest, pineapple, mango, orange peel, pear, clove, pepper, honey, candi sugar, light coconut, light oak, floral, and yeast easrthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of tropical fruit, yeast, and malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big peach, lemon zest, pineapple, pear, mango, orange peel, clove, pepper, honey, candi sugar, bread, light coconut, light oak, floral, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of citrus, peach, pineapple, mango, clove, pepper, candi sugar, bread, light coconut, light oak, floral, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice balance and complexity of tropical fruit, malt, and yeast ester flavors; with a great malt/spiciness balance and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a smooth, moderately slick, and fairly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent tripel style! All around great balance and complexity of tropical fruit, yeast, and malt flavors; and very smooth to sip on for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Absolutely superb. A tripel first and foremost, brewed perfectly. The twists just add from there. Fruity peach flavor, in just the right amount. A woody smokiness wisping in and out, to just the right degree. Can't say I discern coconut, but no matter. A. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a light hazy gold with a thick white head. Aroma heavy on malt, coconut and Belgian yeast. Taste follows, slight tropical fruit but a lot of coconut. Solid trippel with something special

A great tripel. Pours a nice orange with a white head. Smells like tropical fruit with a hint of coconut. Taste had many layers. Starts off smooth and creamy, then gets some tropical fruit. Finishes with more coconut and a slightly hoppy finish. Had on tap at Beer Cafe in Walnut Creek. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nose of pineapple, mango, yumminess. Taste is similar. Like a fruit bowl. Slightly sweet with some alcohol warming. Low on the phenols. Good stuffs. ---Rated via intercellular device
