Bottle 33cl at Lochristi cycling event. Pours more dark than golden, very standard ale with an interesting (but dangerous) choice of name. Might have to change it if things would take off. Benzai (15486) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 20, 2016
Bottle @ home. Clear orangy color, medium sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, slightly sweet-bitter, lightly herbal. Firm, fizzy carbonation, decent body. Meh, not much to it imo. tderoeck (9491) - Gent, BELGIUM - FEB 3, 2016

Note: man, I’ve been looking for this "third" beer in this series for years! Awesome to complete the series.
Clear orange beer, creamy irregular big off-white to yellow head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: bit sweet, lots of ripe banana, some almonds. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: somewhat citric, bitter touch, yeasty bit sweet, quite some banana. Aftertaste: yeast, little spicy, soft bitterness.
Found a bottle of this in an old school liquor store in Wippelgem near Ghent so I doubt if this is really retired. Thickly cobweb lacing, coarse but stable, snow white head, lightly hazy ’old gold’ colour with strong, champagne-like fizz. Aroma has quite a lot of unattractive DMS (cooked cauliflower), next to banana, bubblegum, strawberry, grass, apricot, gooseberry, white bread. Banana, peach and bubblegum in the onset, very "Belgian" and estery with a sourish pineapple and gooseberry accent as well as a touch of orange freshness, expectedly strongly (over)carbonated, minerally, bready malt backbone, lightly sweetish, evolving in a mildly yeasty gently grassy hop bittering finish with some retronasal phenols. Very cliché Belgian blonde, completely unremarkable, but technically more or less okay.

Dense, yellow-tinted head, huge, with shards of lace over clear, well-carbonated golden beer with a copperish sheen. Milky nose, pale malts, leafy green herbs, bit oppressive aroma. Toasted grains, cornflakes flavour, but not very sweet, excepted for the finish, where maltsugars appear, gliding into the aftertaste; ever so slightly oxydized and again a bit of greenery. Bit slick, medium bodied (restsugars?), well-carbonated feel. As to the beer - oh, well. But... the name??? Where the Dickens are Coors UK to scream bl****dy murder??? Since 2008 - and years ago they nearly slaugthered Callewaert for Loebas of all things! BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUN 8, 2010
