750 at a bottle share Burnt orange and brown
Sort of a clementine orange. Tart and oaky
Pretty medicine like. Tart and sweet. Residual sugars. Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - AUG 23, 2013
23 aug 2013, bottle. Light brown and hazy. Nose is sweet bready malt and faintly tart. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Hmmm. Not the Flanders I was hoping for. To make it "imperial" they added lots of malt and it blinds the balsamic. Some bubblegum, sweet alcohol. Ok.

750ml->trappist. Pours a cloudy red-brown with small offwhite head. Aroma is tart, with peach and strawberry, some funky musk. Taste is dramatically different and darker than the aroma; nuts, prunes, malt, charcoal, cardboard. Disappointing. madmitch76 (25230) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 8, 2013

Cloudy red - brown beer, good pale tan head. Pleasant nose of mild vanilla and fruits. Slightly dry palate. Creamy malt. Mild vanilla oak (is this barrel aged?). Repressed orange and red berry fruits. Finishes creamy. Thought this was an Imperial Red - very nice whatever it is.
Very cloudy amber, slight head and lace. Nice malty aroma with noticeable alcohol. Flavours of malt and funk. Sammy (12596) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 7, 2013
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2013 Dark brown with some reddish highlights. Smoke and roast along with the malt in the aroma. A little sour, woody.Smooth mouthfeel. Aged somewhat since brewed. arrogantb (1402) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 3, 2012
750ml bottle $15. Dark reddish brown color. The smell was oaky and hinted at sourness but was nothing special. The flavor was very oaky, astringent, a little vanilla, not at all what I would expect from a Flanders Red and I was disappointed especially given the price point. I wish I could have bought Zoetzuur instead, much better beer.
