Draft. Side by side with #2. This is the more brazen version, more lacto tartness, typical lambic esque yeast character, some gin-like bitterness. stevoj (5964) - Boise, Idaho, USA - APR 20, 2015
On tap at Capitol Beer on Sacramento. Sharp sour notes in aroma and taste. Slick, sticky body; bone dry finish. Extremely sour. bhensonb (16144) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 20, 2015
Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy/translucent amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sour, making me think of plum. Med minus body. Flavor is smooth, but initially shockingly sour. It’s a fruity sour with some definite earth notes. Finishes well toward dry, fruity and sour. Nice stuff. baraciisch (3476) - California, USA - APR 19, 2015
Golden orange in color... Aroma of sour lemon, citrus, horseblanket... Lots of apricot pit, funk notes throughout, light citrus, lemon... Nice sour

On tap at Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours cloudy copper with a nice off-white head and a sour vinegar aroma. There is a very tart light fruit flavor with a nice yeast presence.

[Tap] Bright orange pour with a light haze to it. Little head or lacing. Tart and vinous aromas of apricot, green apple, vinegar and grapes. Flavors include white wine, rhubarb, apple, pear and lemon. Sour notes are prominent. Lively carbonation. Decent stuff. Tasting notes from 8/2014 at Bavarian Lodge. Rich yellow pour. Powerful aggressive sour with plenty of sulfur / black rubber. Quite gueuze-like in composition, and enjoyable if intense in the sourness and bitterness. Yet it lacks a certain spark that illuminates the better lambics.
Pour on tap, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of white fruit, orange peel, some oak, funk, earth, hints of tart lemon, lacto, touch of brett. Taste is a mix of brett, oak, lemon, lacto into some caramel, toffee, hints of bread and earth into some orange peel, white fruit, finishing tart, dry. zach8270 (4021) - Henrietta, New York, USA - DEC 4, 2014
(draft @ HopCat - Grand Rapids, MI) Orange pour with a fizzy white head. Tart and funky aroma with some light sweetness. Flavor is a lot more sour than the previous "sour" ale that I had. Nice little funky twang to it but not too much. Would’ve liked a bit more personally. trevor211 (1681) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 3, 2014
Sampled at Seattle International Beer Fest 2014 (delayed rate). This is a classic sour ale through and through. Barnyard funk, horse blanket and white wine grapes with lots of citrus. This one’s definitely tart, and is pretty big for a sour -- like a gueuze with less carbonation and more body. Very tasty.
