Hazy dark orangy color, small but steady creamy head, some lace. Aroma has peach, cardboard, toffee and some underlying woody hops. Medium to full bodied. Yeasty, grassy hoppy but same time a bit spicey with hints of plum. Alcohol picks up in the aftertaste. Complex but propably needs some aging, now quite yeasty.
Bottle. Hazy orange/golden with small white head. Flavour is malt, sweet and spices. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 31, 2007
Bottle. Hazy, golden-orange beer with a small, off-white head. Malt, hops and sweetness in the aroma. The flavor is sweet as well, with pale malt, some alcohol and a dusty, cellary note. Full to medium body. Shared the bottle with someone saying it was unmature, but I disagree. To me it felt fresh and pleasing. (070928) brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Hazy golden color with a white head. Sweet sugar and fruit with some mild yeast. Mild citrus notes, some yeast, and a light floral note. Tastes of bread, fruity citrus, and some hints of banana. A bit of pear, mild bitterness, and some floral notes. Just a hint of yeast on the finish. Dedollewaitor (16159) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 31, 2006
This is De Ranke’s Guldenberg made for Vinens Verden! Great Tripel! Golden with fine white head. Aroma and taste of yeast/fruit & hops. Finish is little bitter and lasting. Great!

From the same brewery as XX Bitter, De Ranke. A Belgium Tripel. Golden/orange with white head. An allround tripel- not to spicy for beginners and not too boring for "advanced tasters". Like the quality of a good Belgium beer the finish lasts and is very comftable. A good place to start your Belgish adventure!

Orange, healthy creamy head. Nutty aroma, musty mushrooms. Fizzy in the mouth, which is a shame. Big hoppy aroma after swirling. Big malty taste. Excellent!
Bottle, 8.5%. Refreshing acidic aroma. Cloudy golden colour, small white head. The flavour is a bit rough, but pleasantly so. Fruity and yeasty. Typically Belgian. Dry finish.Benzai (15608) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 4, 2011

Golden colour. Very mild, slight sweet flavour. Low carbonation and creamy mouthfeel.
Slightly hazy golden color, white head. Nice dry bitter taste, more hoppy taste then I would have thought after smelling. Very nice beer. Ferris (15288) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 23, 2013
Draft - Wheat, honey and yeast. Well rounded nothing dominating. Clear gold with a thin rich white head. Yeast and wheat, booze and a sweet finish. bhensonb (15195) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 14, 2007
Bottle. Aroma of citrus and bitter hop backed by earthy spice notes. Hazy peach color with a decent white head. Medium body with creamy carbonation. The flavor is a bit woody/funky with caramel, spice and hop bitter. Heat arrives quickly. The finish is quite dry, almost astringent, and some medicinal wood and bitter hop are present. Very interesting; very tasty.
