4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle 75 cl shared at Kaisla, Helsinki. Poured hazy orange in colour with fluffy well sized head. Leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Sour, yeast, soap and light parfume notes in aroma. Flavour is quite sour vinegar at first but evens out a bit later on. Perhaps some sour apple also in taste. Like a sour IPA.
750 ml bottle at Délices & Caprices in Brussels (sampled in 2016). Served at a beer tasting session as an example of unintended fermentation that might go in a positive direction. Hazy yellow orange body with a small and fast disappearing white head. Aroma is funky with citric fruit, grass and coriander. Flavor is mild acidic, a bit Brett, citric fruit, sweet malt, grassy bitterness and floral. Medium body and funky aftertaste. Clearly infected, but in a nice way. Have something in common with funky Saisons like Orval or Fantome but with a strange combination of grassy hops, quite unique. kraddel (9337) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - JAN 16, 2015

Pours fuzzy warm blonse, goos to big white head fades fast. Smell is bitter with some brett notes. Reminds of orval ( infection or ment too? Nice either way)
Taste is bitter, still very fresh (! ) tasting. Apples, bit of brett way less than the scent. Bit dry, some funk. I like this way more than expexted. Dont think ita infection, ita too good for that. Would be way better with less carbo though olio (10692) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 19, 2013

Pours copper color with a large head. Aroma of toffee, floral hops, yeast and citrus fruits. Flavor of citrus fruits, toffee, yeast, pale malts and grass. Nice.
750ml bottle from Craft Beer Co. Hazy pale golden yellow colour, big foamy head. Sour flowery wheat aroma. Sour grassy flowery wheat flavour, bitter aftertaste. Not really my sort of beer. brugmanneke (283) - GERMANY - AUG 2, 2012
(75 cl bottle) Orange, cloudy, with a foamy off-white head with a green tinge. Caught me be by surprise as it gushed out of the bottle with a lot of pressure. Aroma of soapy citrus, bubblegum, fruity belgian yeast, Boskop apple peel, and a mustiness that reminds me of gueuze or lambic. Taste is less bitter than I had expected. I am also surprised by the light sourness, and by the fact that it does not disturb me. On the contrary, I am confused about a peppery heat, but that might also be the otherwise well-hidden alcohol. Lively carbonation. A strange, not totally balanced beer veering between greatness and disappointment. Anyway, that’s definitely better than mediocrity!

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is quite strange. I get a lot of farmhouse and yeast character, as well as some light funk and some apple cider-like qualities. The flavor is also reminiscent of a cider, with some funk and brett-like notes. There is also a strong biscuit malt component and the beer is very dry. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A weird beer. Not too IPA like, but not bad overall. laiti (8531) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 6, 2012

Aroma is fresh with soapy citrus, hops and some floral notes. Flavour has lots of soapy citrus and hops with fruits. Tripel meets IPA: the result is rather refreshing and nice!
750 ml bottle. A cloudy medium to dark blonde beer, with a huge, frothy/fizzy, lightly lacing, fully lasting white head. The aroma is lightly malty (biscuits), moderately hoppy (flowers, resin), moderately yeasty (barnyard, dough), with notes of oranges and some urine-like off notes. The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, dry, long finish with moderate bitterness. Not an IPA for sure, more like a funky Saison. Something between a funky Jolly Pumpkin and a rustic Fantome. Some strange notes in the aroma, but overall very good.
