ZBF2008: From bottle. Pours hazy red with a lacing pink head. Dry cherry aroma, mild sulphorish note. Medium dry flavour. Light woody and mild sulphorish flavour to a dry cherry flavour. Shows a short initial sweetness which goes into a slight citric/acidic dryness. Ends with a lingering dry flavour of cherries. Ungstrup (37655) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 15, 2004
The aroma is sweet cherry with out being too sweet. The color is a clear red and it has a collapsing pink head. The flavor is lovely; sour, dry wood, cherries, lemon, and grapefruit. A lovely beer. joergen (28164) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2005
Hazy red coloured with a small white head.
Acidic aroma of fruits and wood with notes of berries.
Acidic flavour of fruits and berries. anders37 (26657) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 19, 2005
Redish colour with some small pinkish colour. Pretty high in carbonation. Has a little lambic aroma and sour cherries aroma. Taste of sour cherries and a little acid taste. You don’t taste the alcohol at all. A lovely bee. Friends that never tasted a kriek before liked it.

Bottled. Hazily redish brown. Acidic lemon aroma. Medium bodied and soft with lovely flavour from sour black cherries. Tart finish. A top class kriek, Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 30, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 13, 2005 (Bottle 75 cl) This is apparently and odd mix of Lambic and Oud Vlaams Bier. The latter is usually very dark, which I dont trace here. Very red color and the sourness from lambic is apparent already in the nose. Very pronounced sourness, but not extreme. The lambic clearly trumps the other beer, while the cherries are also quite noticeable. Actually harmonic. 231004 Travlr (24880) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - FEB 9, 2010
Bottle with best by date of 09 2012, bottled in September 2007. Murky purple color with a thin white head that rapidly disappears to leave scant lacing. Aroma of sour citrus and cherries. Taste begins with fruit and grows progressively more sour, with notes of grapefruit toward the finish. Great body. Very dry. Brett character is apparent, and complexity is decent. Nice one. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - OCT 19, 2009

Sour dry cherry beer. A little bit sucking lemon, a little bit dry and a little hard work.
