COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saison de Dottignies is a high-fermenting saison with a relatively low alcohol content which makes for a well-balanced beer.

Taste: Full of taste, but very drinkable. Heavily-hopped and thirst-quenching - typical of saison-styled beers.

Hops: Challenger, Brewers Gold, Hallertau Mittelfrüh, Styrian Golding

rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - OCT 19, 2013
Bottle from Proof. Glowing amber pour with a bubbly white head. Funky, earthy, leather yeast aroma, slight floral character with some bready cracker malt. Prickly carbonation with flavors of cracker malts, yeastiness with spicy notes at the end. Medium bodied and pretty drinkable. Not too shabby.

maekchu (3917) - Hirakata, JAPAN - OCT 16, 2013
Bottle. Light earthy sweetness, dirt, peaches. Hazy golden color with a thin filmy head and good lace. Mild yeast, fruit / bitterness intensifies / finish is mostly hops. Light body. Decently made stuff. Yeastiness is a bit too much. Not the most refreshing of saisons, and certainly not among the better brews from De Ranke. Still, pretty good.
