3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a lovely orange colour, smells hoppy. Has a bitter hop flavour but with a good medium body behind that, very satisfying balanced flavour that allows you to enjoy the hops without the bitterness getting too much. Pleasant long dry bitter aftertaste. looking forward to the next time I can try a bottle.
From Oct 2005
This one poured a crystal clear gold until the sediment at the bottom hit the glass and turned it into a cloudy gold....but there are no solid "chunks" so I give this very high honors in the appearance department.
The smell was the only thing I could find negative about it. Almost had a cleaning solution smell to it...very lemony.
The taste was superb! That lemony smell translated into a very hoppy/lemony taste that hit my palate on nothing but positive tones. Boy....am I sad that I only bought 1 bottle....this is GREAT stuff! Hoppay! ;^) Parmenion777 (341) - Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 9, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 10, 2017 On tap Leper - Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a medium sized thick foamy white head. Aroma has that Belgian yeastiness, some grass and citrus lemon notes. A zesty hoppy bitter taste, malt and yeast flavours a little sweetness and more hops in the finish. mt_hall (211) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2017
Bottled. Bright gold with a slight haze. A dense white head. Typical yeasty, Belgian, bubblegum and clove aroma, but with a touch of tropical fruit too. Sweetness and acidity at the start, leading to a dray finish and a dry, yeasty aftertaste. Warmth from the alcohol but suprisingly refreshing for the ABV. Pour is a cloudy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is some bland wet paper type lager malt but there is a underlying fruity apricot. Flavor is some more bland malt but there is a huge white pepper that stays on the palate long after the swallow. Not very bitter as the name suggests, the beer is all about the malt and more importantly the yeast used.

Une blondeur lumineuse. Un nez poussiéreux, fruité, de levure et de houblon. Des saveurs sèches, amères, fruitées et herbacées. Un arrière-goût acidulé et amer. Fort appréciable. (2323-100917) thanatosti (1772) - Culemborg, NETHERLANDS - SEP 17, 2017
33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Wijnzinning, Gendt.
Hazy golden with a white head. Yeasty fruity hoppy aroma. Bittersweet taste. Nice mature blonde with, for a Belgian ale, lots of hops. frumento70 (4) - - SEP 16, 2017 does not count
Ottima birra balwanekfigo (232) - POLAND - SEP 8, 2017
Armand czysty słodowy. Piana super. W smaku czysto, chmielowo, wysokie nasycenie, goryczka wyraźnia, dobrze zbalansowana, krótka. Są nuty belgijskie. Jest dobrze. mzaar (3593) - Varberg, SWEDEN - SEP 5, 2017
Flaska. Disig orange med ett frostigt vitt skum. Dofter av citrus, örter, peppar och blomster. Smakinslag av grapefrukt, citron, blomster och örter. Bitig beska i eftersmaken. Något jordig avslutning.
