COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle shared by a friend, medium sample. Hazy copper color, medium frothy head. Aroma is slight spicy, some caramel. Bit sweet in taste, slight spicy. Typical mediocre spicy belgian styled stuff.

I share previous raters’ feelings about this beer. It is surprisingly good. Never had any really good beers from De Roos but this is is pretty good. The addition of the orangeblossom gives this dark beer some interesting sweet and lightness. Bottle from T drinks in Tilburg.

Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 6, 2012
Bottle: With such a label and name I didn’t had any expectations. Pours a murky dark amber brown colored beer with a light ruby tint with a medium creamy nutty beige head on top, that changes very slow into a thicker beige creamy lacing. Smell hops, flowers, citrus, blue cheese, french cheese, some yeast, light sour tint, barleys, a light coffee note, flowers and darker herbs. Taste lot of barleys, some sweet liquorice notes, some dark barley malts and herbs, autumnal herbs, cheese, yeast, bitter, malty bitter, tingly, light dry, some spices. Aftertaste is dry bitter, grass, floral, light herby and some spicy tones. Medium carbo, soft mouthfeel with a spicy creamy touch, good medium bodied (tend to fuller) and a creamy texture. Didn’t expect this! Pretty good!
