33 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe/fonefan. Pours cloudy deep amber with a huge, rocky and lasting head. Aroma is prune fruity, dark caramelish and yeasty. Breadish, roasted caramel, light metallic, bitter and dry overripe fruity. Lingering yeasty and fruity into a dry and slight phenolic finish.

Ungstrup (37635) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 20, 2010
Bottled. A dark amber beer with a huge light tan head. The aroma has notes of nuts, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and some nuts, leading to a dry caramel finish.

oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 22, 2009
Bottled. Hazy ambery brown colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruits, spices, mild yeast as well as sweet malts. Flavour is quite the same, big caramel with mild alcohol and spices. Toffeeish finish.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 20, 2010
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours amber with tiny impurities and a dense off-white head leaving some lacework. Roasted malt and pumpernickel in the nose. Medium body, again roasted malt, burned caramel and pumpernickel. Dryish finish. Again, more like a Dutch Bock. 200210

2.9
Koelschtrinker (20403) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 29, 2011

TBone (17545) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 22, 2009
Bottled 33cl (BB 07/2010). Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Deep ruby red color, medium-sized creamy beige head. Aroma of kandi sugar, dry yeast, wood and caramel. Flavor has caramel, some alcohol and spices. Aftertaste is a bit spicey with some caramel. Quite ok, although standard. Similar to some beers from De Proef’s mill.

2.6
MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 29, 2007
Bottle, 6.5%. Sour malt aroma. Muddy brown colour, small creamy head. OK malt flavour, better than the aroma, but not overwhelming. Sewer aftertaste.

3.4
Benzai (15613) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - SEP 1, 2011
Think I sampled this at Oirschots Bierfestival 2010. Amber color, beige head. Smell malts and caramel. Taste sweet, wood, caramel and light bitter. Medium body and carbonation.
