Bottled. Pours clear golden with an average off-white head. Aroma of yeast, caramel and fruity notes and with some spice too. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry. Light to medium bodied, oily texture and lively carbonation. A nice, classic Blonde. nathanvc (493) - Brugge, BELGIUM - SEP 11, 2014
It appears clear golden with a disappointing minimal head. The taste is balanced between bitter and sweet, with citrus, grains and hay. The finish is dry and herbal but astringent. Medium carbonation and a creamy texture. Mediocre. davidtjm (1074) - Berlin, GERMANY - AUG 24, 2014

Voor een gewoon blond bier te zijn is dit een aanrader. Er zit veel smaak aan. De beste uit het gamma van arend deanso (10128) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - JUL 27, 2014
33cl bottle from the Gouwen Aar.
Thick creamy white head. Cloudy blond pour. An average blond Alengrin (5334) - BELGIUM - JUL 24, 2014
Named after the brewery’s original name (De Gouden Arend) and produced since 2006. Creamy white head, golden blonde beer with an aroma of malt sweetishness and light fruitiness, taste again fruity (apple, unripe peaches) with a metallic undertone, medium mouthfeel and mild hop bitterishness in the finish. Rather forgettable.

Bottle at the Moorings, Aberdeen, 21/06/14.
Clear golden with a good sized off white head that retains well.
Nose is light citric peel, straw, floral tones, faint orange, pretty thin all in all.
The taste offers a little more than the nose but again is subdued considering the ABV, yeast esters, spice, bitter orange, citric peel.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a little prickle, herbal wash in the close.
So very so ! Scopey (14699) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 21, 2014
Bottle at Moorings. It pours clear golden with a medium white head. The nose is doughy, sweet, grainy, bread and a touch of spice. The taste is bitter-sweet, pear, apple, mild spice, toasty, candy sugar, dull tartness and dough with a short finish. Medium body and high carbonation. Fairly standard Belgian blond, but it drinks pretty easy.
