Taste 2 times. First at Bles happening. Later bottle 33 cl. Dark blond-gold colour, white head. Medium bodied. Sweet, malt. Dry en light sweet taste. Better as Leffe.

[email protected] Malty, coriander, hint of pepper aroma. Hazy, dark yellow, off-white head, good lace. Malty, sweet, lightly spiced, nicely hopped, soft bitterness. Quite full. Especially for the style I was pleasantly suprised.

Smells lightly spiced + bready/yeasty (focaccia). Like same brewery’s blond branded as Steenuilke (tried alongside this), a v light weight about it. Body has slight spice similar to the nose; this may be coriander, but somehow seems a little sweet – like v mild liquorice, cinnamon or dried coconut. V beer is balanced and has unusual lightly coconut-y flavour, which is not a bad thing at all.

Dark gold beer with a off-white head. Sweetish caramel aroma. Mild spicy flavours. Some caramel as well. Mild hop bitterness. Medium carbonation.

Draught at ZBF08. Cloudy orange colour. Small tight, creamy white head. Bready flavour, mild and creamy. Slightly watery. OK hint of alcohol in aftertaste.

SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - JUL 19, 2008
Bottle: Poured a light orange brown with a white medium head. I expected something more golden, maybe to cold. I do like the appearance. Aroma is sweet with fruit, malt, and some very fine spice. The taste is very good with fruit and sugary malts, the finish is tangy hops that dry the buds. Very pleasant suprise!

Swaroga (2221) - Warszawa, POLAND - MAR 13, 2012
33cl bottle. Orange with a small white head. Nose : Strong hay and lighter caramel notes. Some coffee beans and honey. Sip : Oily texture with a medium carbonation. Fluffy but easy to drink. Sweet and aromatic with a little sour and bitter hop ending, the atertaste is licorice. Original beer. I’m enjoying it.

Voor een gewoon blond bier te zijn is dit een aanrader. Er zit veel smaak aan. De beste uit het gamma van arend

ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 22, 2007
Bottled. Clear golden with your occasional large belgian foam. Strong aroma of yeast, dried oranges and nutmeg. Fruity and fairly dry flavour of dried oranges, herbs, burnt sugar and toasted bread in the flavour. Long finish if apricots, cinnamon, geassy hops and maruenge. Quite interesting Blonde.
