Bardzo dobre piwo, ktore rosnie w oczach. Chodzi mi oczywiscie o piane. Spora i drobinkowa metnosc, kolor ciemno rubinowo-bordowy. Piana niebywale trwala. Aromat sliwek i innych owocow suszonych. W smaku slodkawe ale nie przytlaczajace. Lekka wytrawnosc daje sie zaznaczyc na finiszu. Jerre (3319) - Waregem, BELGIUM - OCT 27, 2006
Bottle, 33 cl. Dark amber-brown color, beige head. Aroma is malty. Medium sweet with soft mouthfeel. Medium body. There is differance with Rochus.
I’m not wild of this beer, but it’s good. Boutip (6344) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 23, 2007
Bottle: Poured a deep brown color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet Belgian malt with some notes of light spices. Taste is also dominated by some creamy Belgian malt with some candi sugar and some dry fruits components. Good full body with some limited filtration and some good carbonation. I really appreciated the toffee and caramel notes that were easily discernable. Skinnyviking (9550) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 5, 2007

33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Very deep ruby colour with thick lasting rocky beige head. Perfumed strong Belgian ale aroma. Quite interesting and tasty and makes you want to try it again. Reminds me of a few of the really good dark beers, more of an abt than a dubbel. Good malts hold it up but this spicyness is really very good. Finished it in just a few minutes. Something like a toned down Rochefort 8 is my best analogy SHIG (4956) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - MAR 4, 2007
Draught: Poured a brown clear amber with a white head. The aroma was a rich taffy malt. The taste was a sweet malt. JoeinDahlem (1503) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUL 30, 2007
33 cL @ Delices et Caprices in Brussels. Hazy brown beer with amber highlights, off-white head. Aroma quite malty with some dark fruit notes. Roasty malt flavor with tart fruit notes and faintly bitter hops. Plenty of character while instantly likable, drinkable and refreshing. Well balanced, neither sweet nor overly spiced. A classic take on the style. yespr (44811) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JAN 13, 2008
33 cL bottle. Pours hazy reddish with a fully diminished white head. Light hoppy and fruity aroma. Mildly spiced and caramel malt flavour, light yeasty spiced. Ends with a nice fruity note, solid bitterness and a light spice/yeasty mellow note. Nice.
