Tap at ZBF 2010. Lighter than the Speciale, this one had aroma of white pepper and flavor of licorice & almonds. Bitter finish. Nice.

dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAR 10, 2010
Bottle @ ZBF & home. Spicey aroma with fruit and hops. Sweet start, too sweer, some hop bitterness when the sweetness fades away. Hmm, it’s not so bad. No, it’s quite good actually. There’s a nice bitterness to it, proper carbonation. Grows on you during a single beer.

3.2
Skinnyviking (9569) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 9, 2010
Draught. Low fluffy and quickly disappearing white head. Clear golden yellow body. Weak malty sweet fruity honey aroma with a dry and hoppy finish. Low carbonation. Long sweet aftertaste.

Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAR 7, 2010
ZBF 2010. Pours almost clear gold with a thin white head that laces. Aroma is soapy and fruity and with some malts. Flavor is spicy sugar water with some fruits. Sweet finish.

Guerde (1297) - Leuven, BELGIUM - FEB 24, 2010
(bottle shared by JK) Pours gold with a medium white head which retains and leaves some lacing. Aromas of bananas foster, candi sugar, pale malts, and a touch of bready yeast. No real oxidation here even though the bottle is a couple of years old. The taste, however, is classic aged triple with some stale hops, banana, candi sugar, and the bready yeast, but it finishes very dry with an off flavor I can’t quite put my finger on. Mouthfeel is medium with spritzy carbonation. A really solid tripel, and would’ve been great if not for that unpleasantness in the finish.

Beer5000 (6483) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 16, 2010
330 ml bottle. Hazy golden body with a thin, collapsing head. Aroma is mild fruity with notes of honey and spices. Flavor is sweet, spicy and a hint of honey in the finish. Quite straightforward tripel

arminjewell (9635) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - FEB 14, 2010
2007 bottle, pours hazy golden with white head. Aroma is banana, candi sugar, kind of buttery. Taste up front is the sweet banana and esters moving into a sweet finish from the sugar. Fairly good tripel.

Bottle. Golden with an off-White foam. Aromas are lemon and pineapple with plenty of yeast. Clean, floral, spicy hops. Flavours are sweet and fruity with grapefruit bitterness. Yeasty and spritzy with a dry finish.
