bierkoning (13451) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - APR 21, 2008
UPDATED: JAN 24, 2015 Tap, Café Morshuis Albergen. Raspberry and citrus in the aroma. Bitter cookies and blackcurrant flavor with a firm flowery and earthy hopbitterness, lingering on in the aftertaste. Just hints of tartness and metal in the finish. Tasty beer, hardly a tripel, but with a distainct farmhouse character. Tasted a 10 year old version from tap @morshuis Albergen. Has kept remarkably well. Strong sherry notes in the aroma and flavor. Still some Carbon left. Toffee. Still very drinkable.

bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - APR 1, 2009
(750ml bottle) Pours a hazy golden body with a small white head. Aroma of orange, yeast, light barnyard, and caramel. Flavor of spicy yeast, citrus, and candi sugar.

thewolf (12706) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAR 22, 2009
Bottle, bought @ Bierpaleis, Brügge.
Pours hazy orange with a great, staying, creamy, white head. Nice looks! Sweet bready malts aroma, some citric hops, banana, melons, green apples. Some spices. Medium carbonation, impressive, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is light bitter and fruity sweet. Green apples, grassy hops, banana, lemons, yeast. This is really quite tasty.

Pinball (12187) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 20, 2010
UPDATED: MAY 1, 2011 Verdammt! explosively agressive gusher with a timed delay - took me quite by surprise, and now my socks and trousers are wet, not to mention that the floor also got some. what beer is left is clear orange, smooth white head. appearance penalty points for getting my feet wet. dry cellary and yellow fruity aroma , smells good.(jokes about my feet now smelling good will be ignored). also slightly boozy. flavor is sweet as in sweet apple, then yellow fruits (dry versions of peach, pear, orange, pineapple all mixed up) yeast and what almost tastes like wheat. discreetly balanced by bitter hops (grapefruit peel). [re-rate apr 2011. Non-gushing version, tasted somewhat better, quite complex. aroma anise spices, lkemongrass, faint nutty, flavor yellow fruits, anise, brown sugar, malts. 2,8,8,3,16]

rosenbergh (11653) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 23, 2011
330 ml bottle. From bierzwerg.de.
Cloudy golden colour with small white head. Toffee, berries and Belgian yeast in aroma. Berry sourness, some yeast and some sweetness in flavour. No good. Arend Blond was much tastier.

Bottle: Clear, deep golden, small persistent white head, sweet pale-malty nose, bisquits underneath, some nutty traces and orange-peel as well; solid sweet flavour with a slight bitterness; slightly drier sweet-bitter finish, orange peel and hops detectable. O.K., not very exciting......

75 cl bottle thanks to Dunbar72! Sampled on March 7, 2015.

Fin (10699) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2009
Bottle from Beers of Europe, consumed 20-12-09 Pours very light amber, quite hazy with a fast diminishing white head. Touch of sour fruitiness on the nose. some yeast, some alcohol and spice also showing. Much of the above is also present in the mouth, with warmth from the alcohol, touch fruitier than expected a little bitterness. It fine but no great shakes. A6 A3 F6 P3 Ov12 3.0
