Medium white cream coloured head, brown to dark red colour, fruity sirup wine wood oaky some metal smell, medium carbonation low to medium bityer fruity raisins some pepper not over sweet like most off the krieks but i mis the fruity taste a bit dry more towards a ’beer’ Alengrin (5629) - BELGIUM - AUG 25, 2014
UPDATED: OCT 25, 2015 Sweet cherry beer with pinkish head and deep red colour, sugary and lots of cherry jam, bit malty, bit spicy, sourish touch, fortunately not too cloying but suffering from a thin mouthfeel and a lack of complexity. But a lot better than that awful Jules De Kriek, luckily. jgb9348 (6434) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - AUG 10, 2014
Cloudy muddied ruby tinted copper coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of cherries, malt, light nuts, caramel and some figs with a touch of alcohol on the finish. Medium-bodied; Strong cherry flavour with some alcohol noticeable up front and a more subdued, caramel flavour with some malt on the back end. Aftertaste shows a little complexity with light spices, yeast and pit fruits all complementing the cherries, which aren’t too strong in this one. Overall, a decent beer, but not as good as I was expecting. Still, not a bad one to try, but I wish I packed my bag with a different kriek than this one! I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Delices and Caprices in Bruxelles, Belgium on 19-August-2013 for €2,50 sampled at home in Washington on the other side of the Atlantic for my fifth wedding anniversary on 09-August-2014.

Bottle: BB’10: Served in a shaker:
Medium sized vanilla colored creamy foamy head on top of a clear amber colored beer.
Aromas of brown sugars, bread, malts, toast, some dusty marzipan andcan hardly found and fruits...
The flavour reveals more fruit, but also a bit dull in the background covered with a nice but very light tart tone. Also hints of hay, malts, bitters, toast and bread.
Aftertaste is bitter with malts, light hint of something cherry ish and some dry floral hay ish tones...
Low carbo, light watery mouthfeel, medium bodied and a light watery lighter dry texture. Meh... rosenbergh (11753) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 22, 2014
330 ml bottle. BBE F/15. From belgianbeerfactory.com.
Dark murky red colour with a big foamy pink head.
The aroma is like cherry flavoured yoghurt and malt put together. Yummy! Not really. The flavour is also very strange... There’s not much Kriek qualities here, it’s just very odd fruit beer. There’s sourness and cherry essence messed with malty flavour. Not my favourite. This non-kriek is non-fantastiek.
