COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Little Owl", a blond beer for quiet tasting created in collaboration with the Regionaal Landschap Vlaamse Ardennen (Flemish Ardennes Regional Landscape conservation board) and the Little Owl Project Leader to support the Little Owl project. To emphasise our regional identity and the links to this little creature, it includes carefully selected herbs and spices from the Flemish Ardennes. These give the beer a unique, full bodied aroma and taste and one will soon make you want more.

Ingredients: barley malt, maize, hops, yeast, woodruff, angelica, sloe.

Pours clear golden with a big white head. It has the aroma of malt, herbs, spices. Unique is the added woodruff (lievevrouwbedstro in Dutch). The taste is medium sweet thanks to the fruitiness, and light bitter. Body is medium and carbonation average. A pretty, charming beer.

Pours an amber body with a medium head. Yeasty aroma with malty tones. Nice taste but nothing out of the ordinary. Just another tripel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 330ml @ Geokkjer
Pours clear golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, dried fruits and yeast. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a yeasty, fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A huge, off-white head forms over a more or less clear, golden body. Curtains. The aroma is quite fruity, with some yeast and a touch of pale malts. Its medium bodied, smooth and nicely carbonated. Yeast, pale malts, some bitterness, a good dash of fruityness and some pine cones in the flavor. Lasting finish. Too much on the yeasty side this one, not very good actually. 150711

Quite like it. Texture, carbonation, looks all well done. The flavor concentrates on malts and belgian yeast. Simple but good.

Spiced amber ale. Rather unpleasant after taste for me. Drunk from 33cl bottle bought at Malting Pot in Brussels. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

from Schoentjes - hazy blond beer with a little white foam left; strong yeasty and bready aroma with notes of mineral; quite full-bodied, tart bitter herbal with some salty notes; honeyish and bready finish with gentle spicy notes - the excessive yeasty flavors prevent it to be really good
