Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange, mandarin. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Again a lovely brew from Menno .. thumbs up ;O)
On tap at the ’Beer Temple’, Amsterdam, 28-10-09 Pours orange/amber in colour, off-white head. Really quite bitter, there is bitter tangerine, its quite pithy, nice sweetness at the end, its a fine beer. A7 A3 F7 P4 Ov14 3.5 Borresteijn (7269) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 29, 2009
33cl Bottle at ’t Arendsnest. This beer is now brewed at De Molen, no longer at De Prael. And it shows, this is one hoppy beast! Hazy amber orange colour, dense fluffy off white head. Aroma is superb, almost perfect with lots of very nice grapefruit aroma’s, resin, sweet and spicy, bit yeasty. Flavour is sweet, grapefruit, caramel, citrus, resiny bitter finish. Medium to fullbodied. Just gorgeous! Will be available on tap soon, as I’ve been told. caesar (7165) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - SEP 10, 2007
Tap, Arendsnest. Wall-menu stated 6%, Cambrinus website 5.5%. I don’t know exactly where this brew was produced, but it’s from De Snaterende Arend and that’s most important. Clear amber color, big off-white head. Aroma of fruit like grapefruit, american hops, some pine. Very nice. Bitter and fruity taste. Bitter palate. One way or another: quite nice! skortila (5905) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - SEP 13, 2007
Tap @ Arendsnest. Aroma is hoppy (some grapefruit). Clear, amber coloured with a large, off-white, lasting head. Taste is bitter, hoppy, citric. Really good brew.

On tap at Arendsnest. Wicked. Bright orange color with nice head. Hoppy and citrus nose. Prickly soft texture. Oranges in the flavour and lots of grapefruit throughout and bitter in the finish. MarcoDL (5017) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 4, 2013
Amber colored beer with a mildly bitter taste and some caramelised malt. Liked it. Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - DEC 29, 2009
Pours a hazy orange with almost no head. Fruity hoppy citrus aroma with orange and pine. Flavor is slightly watery but also very bitter with many hops. Nice lingering bitter finish. Medium carbonation. dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - DEC 30, 2009
Light glowy yet hazy brown, tiny head. Lots of hop, lots of fruit, overall sweet aroma. Bitter sweet hops taste. Long lasting hop aftertaste evolving into a lightly sour orange. Nickls (2540) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - SEP 16, 2010
Bottle, courtesy of the kind staff at Beer Temple (November 2009). Two-fingers of slightly off-white head; darker copper-brown..fairly dense looking. Grapefruit hop aromas, and pretty aggressive for the style. Passion fruits and some caramel sweetness in the flavor. Fuller body, fluffy and a little thick with soft carbonation. Interesting.
