Tap. Clear dark brown with a beige, foamy head. Aroma of citrus and hop spice, light pine and smoke. Taste is yeast, spice, light fruit, and roasted malts. Light bodied.
Tap at the brewery - interesting choice for a dry hopped ale - notes of dark fruit, toffee, chocolate - didn’t expect the hoppiness to work, but the simcoe and columbus work.really well with this qualities - like a belgian black ipa. Ratman197 (15468) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - SEP 1, 2013
On tap at De Steeg poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of pine, grapefruit, earthiness and carmel. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, pine and grapefruit zest with a crisp dry lingering citrus finish. cubs (10721) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Tap @ De Steeg. Pours a murky orangish brown appearance with a light brown head. Quite spicy, piney hoppy, a touch sweet, mild dark fruity aroma but really it is mostly hops in the nose. Somewhat bitter, piney, earthy, herbal, slightly burnt malty, light toffee flavor. Really a hop-centric beer.
