Tap. Clear dark brown with a fizzy beige head that doesn’t last. Smells like caramel, sweet malt and odd yeast notes. Flavor is light, lingering sweet malt, biscuit, and caramel; a bit weak on the end.

Pour on tap at the brewery, dark brownish pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of nice roast, dark chocolate, nuts, hints of earth, spice, and yeasty tones, pretty nice smelling overall. Taste is a nice mix of dark cocoa powder, hints of roast, coffee, slight earthy tones into spice, some nuts, finishing fairly bitter, roasted, dry.

On tap at the brewery. Pour is murky brown with a small white head and decent lacing. Big smoke, raisins, toffee, brown sugar, roast, a touch of chocolate, and peat in th aroma. Taste is roasty, peaty, somewhat grassy, watered-down, coffee, brown sugar, and bread. Light body with soft carbonation. Pretty decent mild and packed with flavor, especially for 4.8% ABV.
