Clear golden with a pungent hop nose of bitter pine and grass resin and a little bit of that summit hop bile, even though the brewer says there’s none. Flavor is crisp and brightly hoppy with a little pine and leafy hop flavors with a clean pale malty body. Medium bitterness and well balanced, with no summit hop flavors. Pretty swell! On tap at De Steeg. Pours golden. Light lacing. Earthy aroma. What an IPA should smell like. Very bitter on the front end and then sweet on the finish. Maybe not fully attenuated. Still not bad for a 5.6% "session" beer. notalush (5876) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 21, 2013
So 5.6=session? Okay - supposedly a white IPA, and you can detect the wheat in the texture and flavor - soft, fluffy texture - medium dry up front, moderately wheaty - crisp and quite dry late, with a strong mineral bite and strong bitterness in the finish - fairly solid. 647413
