08-12-2017; bottle; at home (bought somewhere in The Netherlands).
The looks of the beer are fine. Not to special. Golden amber color, clear beer and some small gas bubbles are rising towards the top. On top of the beer some rough white foam is formed, not to much. Foam retention is average. A thin drape and a lot of lacing are left.
The smell of the beer is fine. Also not to special. It is just a Abbey Tripel...nice but not to special. I smell some nice delicate sweet malts, and some stronger hops, giving a nice spicy and a bit floral hop note. It isn't to strong, it is rather gentle and soft, but in a good way.
The taste of the beer is nice. Medium malty sweetness, some nice floral hops, spicy hop notes and a sweet touch that reminds me of honey. Not bad. It is well balanced and has a nice delicacy. But, again, not to special.
The body is fine. Medium carbonation, smooth texture and medium body. The finish contains some alcohol and floral hop notes. Not bad, a nice and easy Abbey Tripel, for when you're not in the mood for an extremely complex beer. I am satisfied with this one. DijkBier (651) - AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - OCT 13, 2017
Bottle pours light golden with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, banana. Taste same, medium sweet, with some light citrus. Rather soft carbonation. It's an OK tripel, but not very special or rich.

Home. 33 xl Bottle. BB 10/2017. A good fine whit foam layer above a clear yellow beer. Aroma is somewhat malty (wheat-like), sweetness/fruity (apple, grape, peach). A hint of yeast. Taste is sweet/fruit ( apple, orange), herbs (clove). In the aftertaste also some hop bitter is coming up. Little too less. Body is full. Carbonation lower than medium. Sweet sticky and little bitter dry. Somewhat too sweet => bitter is not coming up. DwarfeD (3539) - Amersfoort, NETHERLANDS - JUL 11, 2017
