Champagne Brut Bier. Serwowane w kubelku by osiagnac zalecana temperature. Kieliszki Deusa wymrozone kostka lodu. Po nalaniu rosnie piana jak w porzadnym szampanie, dosc glosno sycza babelki. Barwa slomkowa, zloto cytrynowa. Na koniec metniste lekko. Wytrawne i moze tak pol wytrawnie. Zapach dzikiego bzu takze wyczuwalny, troche soku cytrynowego, limonki i ocierajaca sie o to wszystko miodowa slodycz. Alkohol ukryty, bardzo rzeskie i pijalne. Cos miedzy szampanem a Lambickiem. Sluszna wiec uwaga na etykiecie ze jest to dobra alternatywa np dla Proseco czy Cremant.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small, staying creamy film head. Aroma has sweet malts, apples, light oranges. High carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sharp carbonation, apples, sharp, grass, grapefruit. A bit simplistic.

Not impressed at all. Tasted like butter milk. Thin and unbalanced. Perhaps a bad bottle.

A champagne beer and indeed very much like a method tradionelle white sparkling wine, bit with bubbles, no head, crisp appeal, light appley sweetness. Even more than the famous Deus beers, although this is simpler and less dry, so less good in my book. (75cl bottle from butcher De Kapblok Leuven)

Enjoyed with some chicken picatta and an ass kicking of the parti*ts courtesy of the boys from broad street. Pours golden with a white head. Floral nose. Taste is lightly tart, elderberries, flowers. Light body, lots of darbonation, and slight drying.

APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small rather unstable white head. NOSE: rather sour, fruity. TASTE: sour, fruity, weird kind of herbs. But very much liked it for some bizar reason.

Bottle. Clear golden liquid with medium white head. Aroma of pears, lemon, grain, wheat, earth and light apple skin. Taste is very light sweet and light to medium sour with notes of lemon, apple and grain. Light to medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Pretty good. Reminds me of a semi-brut sparkling wine.

Gelb, orange. Saurer Apfel in der Nase, Zitrus, Cidermäßig. Am Gaumen Cider, säure, leicht metallisch, Apfel. Ok.

15cl sample from bottle at the Leuven Innovation Beer Festival (25 V 2015). This brut beer definitely doesn’t have a champagne look, yet rather a white wine or even lemonade appearance. The aroma makes one think of dust and sour. The beer is high in carbon, the flavours are fruits, oranges. The ending is dry.

Thanks for sharing! Sampled 750 ml. bottle @ Leuven Innovation Beer Festival. Hazy golden,… Nose is awful weird lactic, plastic, off, sour, nasty,… Taste is flat oily, off very sour lactic, nasty, puckering spoiled yoghurt, acidic in a bad way, vinegar, dirty,… Awful in my opinion but what do I know?
