’Exp-date’: Dec 2015... Somehow I kinda forgot that this one was in my cellar...Nevertheless, the ’ageing’ took out pretty well instead... Pours dark orange with a frothy somewhat off-white head. Good lacing. Aroma is malty, caramels, citrus, grass and a bit toasted. Hint of toffees and a tad of hops. Pretty nice. Flavor is syrupy sweet... Caramels, dark fruits, sugars, grass, hops... Something spicy as well... Mild bitterness kicks in and takes over pretty quick.... On the sweeter side of the Pale Ales... Quite an odd one to me, but it is far from bad actually. Oily texture, medium bodied, little carbonation. Weird Pale Ale, but definitely not a mishit. PhillyCraft (7979) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 22, 2016
Sampled at craft and draft, pours clearish orange with large white head and lacing. Flavor is sucking on a vtg bicycle that’s sat out in the rain for 30 plus years....metal, Penny, and rusty infection. One sip and done. mithe (1959) - Opava & Brno, CZECH REPUBLIC - JAN 3, 2016

Mooi amberkleurig bier. In het aroma herken ik eigenlijk alleen maar mout en wat gist. De smaak vind ik niet echt lekker: bitter-zoet en moutig, verder valt er niets in de smaak te ontdekken. Tegenvallende APA. harrisoni (19398) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 24, 2015
On tap at De Wildeman Amsterdam. Hazy amber colour lasting white head. New world hop aroma. Sweet malts in the mouth. It’s a bit sweet. Dry hoppy finish. Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - SEP 17, 2015
Tap at Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Hazy orange with a dense head. Hop flavours come through minty and leafy. Piney and resinous too. Dry and bitter taste. Some decent hop character but the beer itself feels let down by its underpinning, with a thin mouthfeel. Not bad but could be better. markextrae (4499) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - JUL 10, 2015
33cl bottle, poured a clear golden colour with a white head. noce of cereals, grapefruit, citrus, malty, cardboard, floral, bit sweet, weak bad taste. thanatosti (1807) - Culemborg, NETHERLANDS - JUN 20, 2015
33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Plus, Culemborg.
Hazy dark golden with a white head. Aroma is malty with some citrus hops. Taste is sweet but with a bitterness as well. Those two don’t compliment each other though as in other pale ales. Rather, they contradict each other making this not a top beer. Still decent though.
