I do like Witbier, which includes this one. However, among its peers this is not a particularly outstanding brew. Not bad at all, but rather mid-range.

Refrigerated 33 cl squat brown bottle poured into a glass. Hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is esters, light body, medium carbonation, and thick small-bubble lacing. Taste is esters and some coriander.

Hopverdju (1485) - BELGIUM - OCT 30, 2016
Troebel goudblond bier met wit schuim. Geur: mout, licht kruidig, oliebollen deeg. Smaak: wat vettig, zeepachtig, koriander. Redelijke koolzuurprikkel.

erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - AUG 19, 2016
Hazy and quickly headless. Light dive, fruity yeast yet not so much esters. Bread dough malts. Quite refined. Taste is more flat, simple. Expected more, good start but ultimately not special enough. (Bottle at M Cafe Leuven)

VDuquerroux (1860) - Airvault, Haut-Poitou, FRANCE - MAY 26, 2016
Bottle, 33cL. @bar l’Estaminet, Pouançay. A golden orange clear light opaque beer with a medium white foamy head ; medium retention. Caramel, honey, biscuit, herbal note. Light to medium sweet, light acid, bitter note, light dry refreshing. Light body, thin texture, average carbonation, sweet acid short finish. Overall, average witbier ; nothing special ; lightly refreshing.

17/02/2016 @home - 33cl bottle bought from brewery @ BAB. Hazy light orange with fading white foam. Grains, orange, some light sweetness. All a bit too thin, wattery

Alengrin (5718) - BELGIUM - FEB 10, 2016
Chamomille-flavoured witbier from Brugs Bierinstituut, at Brugs Beertje. Loose, thin, off-white (not as dense and moussy as I normally expect from the style), orange peach blonde colour, lightly hazy with vivid fizz. Aroma ruined by DMTS (burnt rubber), covering more pleasant hints of caramel, redcurrant, coriander, chamomille, dried tomato; some iron and DMS (cooked cabbage) as well. Fruity taste, pineapple, apricot, gooseberry, soft carbo, smooth caramelly maltiness, grainy and soapy edges, minerally touch, coriander with soft herbal hop bitterishness at the back; soapy wheat continues. Flavour as such was okay but the nose was a bit off-putting, unfortunately.

Bottle at Comptoir Des Arts, Brugge. Very hazy orange blonde with a white head. Aroma of herbs, weeds, light yeast and light malt. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.
