Bottle. Golden with a large white head. Aromas are lager shandy with syrup, grain and lemon. Whisky barrel with honey and caramel. Flavours are very sweet honey, sugar and grain with lemon. Some light whisky. Getting a sugar rush headache. The sweetest beer I’ve ever had. Urghhh.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2017 November 20, 2015 - with blankboy, jercraigs and mabel - 330ml bottle. Clear frickin bottle. Idiots. Clear bright gold, no head. Left big legs when swirled - eesh. Aroma is skunk, sugar, alcohol - this is beer? Taste is insanely sweet - "if you took Cap’n Crunch, put it in a blender strained off the solids - this is that" - nasty, nasty stuff. Rating stops here - this is a garbage drain pour.

I’ve only come across this beer once as our local liquor stores no longer carry it. I used it for cooking and got astounding results. In chili, gave a sweet bourbon flavor along with emphasizing on the smokey flavor of the chipotle, made for a unforgettable flavor I’ve been craving since. I also made a salted caramel bourbon cake using this beer instead of water for my cake mix. It made it rise almost double and extra fluffy, again it delivered amazing bourbon flavor with notes of beer which accompanied the salted caramel perfectly... I need to find this beer again!

Holy shit this is horrible. Pours dirty gold with a small white wisp. Aroma is sweet bourbon apple and grain, Fairly appalling. Taste is a tart sting of fruitiness with the worst bourbon sweetness and tartness. Cannot do more than a couple sips.

Got this stuff on a whim and quite frankly it’s no good at all. Marketed as "bourbon-flavoured" but it’s far from it. Clear bottle is already a bad sign, embossed world map on it does look kind of cool which is probably the only reason I picked this up. The beer itself appears very clear as well, golden colour, barely any fizz. Tastes like a thin light lager but with an overpowering artificial sweetness, like off-putting candy. If I had to describe it, something like a tangy fruit-ish sugary, flat soda. Not sure if this should even qualify as beer.

Head gone in secs. Orangey golden beer. Very sweet nose, molasses, brown candi sugar’(syrup). As to Bourbon, vanilla...? Water, brown candi sugar, a few drops of lemonjuice. And alcohol. Still, no Bourbon. Light to medium bodied, bit sticky, very low on carbonation. This IS a joke, no?

This is the best and smoothest beer I have tasted. At either room temperature or cold the flavour is sublime. At room temperature the Bourbon flavour is sweet, smooth and gentle while the beer it self gives it body. Cold the beer is more dominant, but the Bourbon gives it grace and presence.

500ml bottle from LCBO. 5.5% Alc./Vol. Pours a clear deep gold colour with very minimal head/ Aroma of rye & Ginger. It tastes as if someone diluted a glass of rye & Ginger with some coors light and a touch of pina colada. I'm not even sure if I can finish it. They put way too much sugar in it. Not recommended.

330 ml bottle, served quite cool in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma: Sweet oranges/mandarins, cloyingly sweet even in the nose, lemon-lime soda, gross. Palate: Medium+ body, slick, with moderate-low carbonation. Flav.: Very sweet orange or lemon-lime soda, wtf, cloyingly sweet even before swallowing; yup, sweet, with low bitterness and a very slightly spicy, citrusy finish.

Not at all what I expected and my expectations were low. Terrible.
