Nose of sweet bread mild cites hops a little oxidized. Pours nice golden creamy white head. Sweet bread pale malt light to medium citra hops fruitiness as well as a little bitterness and a hint of dank. turboespresso (256) - Port Moody, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 19, 2011
Bottle. Amber with nice thick creamy head. Medium carbonation. Nice soft mouthfeel. Citric hoppy scent. Very bitter in a one-dimensional way. Good ballsy IPA and a nice surprise from Dead Frog, who are proving that they can actually brew a high quality craft beer. A lot of their product seems to be marketed to the Sleeman crowd (it is actually better), but this one is a keeper. Thanks Dead Frog! sseb69 (1932) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 12, 2011
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2012 Bouteille 650 ml. 6.5%.
Pours a clear deep golden with a rich and lacing off-white head. Amazingly fresh and citrusy hop aroma. Medium body, a little sweet fruit but the dry and pretty astringent Citra hops dominate. Very astringent finish

Sparkling gold head is gone immediately. Light piney hop nose and fore, hint of malt in mid. Medium hop finish. Lacks carbonation Lagerboy (2221) - British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 16, 2011
Clear, light amber orange, white receding head. Light citrus hop aroma.
Big hop taste at first, gives way to some tropical fruit and background malt. Hoppy citrusy finish. Very nice. Not too intense for a Lagerboy. reebtogi (6341) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 11, 2011
650ml bottle pours a golden color with some orange highlights. There is about a finger of white head which leaves a few spots of lace. Aroma is light citrus. Taste is light malty sweetness with a moderate citrusy hop bitterness in the finish. A decent enough IPA which was quite enjoyable. toddomundo (10) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 7, 2011
Outstanding. Citra is what it claims to be - but not to the exclusion of what we want in an IPA. The citrus is mild and compliments the hops perfectly. Bitterness is not overwhelming - not sure of the IBU rating but I would put it at 60-70. Delightfully bold but smooth. cfrancis (3535) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 29, 2011
Thanks to boney for this. Great looking dark orange gold with a frothy white top. Aroma is citrus hops and a great sweet honey malt. Taste is a slow build of citrus hop bitterness and a great malt backbone that is just phenomenal. Great beer, wish it was around me.
