Cirrhosis (1283) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 15, 2011
Bright light gold brew sitting in the clear bottle noisy short lived cap produced during pour, looks ok for the style. Lemony lager aroma with hints of skunk and corn. Malts come across as sweet and grainy, mild mild skunk on the tongue. Flavour is more of a lime then lemon, no bitter at all. Crisp and relatively clean. What ever if you try to compare this to most other "Beer Geek Beers" its horrible and it will fail, but if you judge based on what it is a pale lager this very good and well above average. Draught at Pumphouse, Richmond, BCCapFlu (5128) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 11, 2008
Blond color with medium sized head. Aroma and flavor are very crispy, nice malts.
This beer deserves some attention.
(Draught) Sampled at the Great Canadian Beer Festival in Victoria, BC, September 8th 2008. Pours a lasting white, thin head with a clear golden body. Nose is mildly lemony and corn. Somewhat tonic tongue, though the texture is pretty good. There is a lasting corn meal finish. Good. 7/3/6/3/12 BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - SEP 19, 2009

A tasty lager this was a fun brewery with a great staff of people.
OOOO yum. Nice clear gold brew with a fluffy white pillow after some settling with some excellent lacing. Fruity aroma with grassy, lemon and soft malts make this smell good enough. Light fragrance gives way to a light toast scent. The taste is not at all disgusting as I assumed it would be. Mellow toasty malts and a light tang fend off most but not all thoughts of a grassy distraction. Light bitterness here and there. A decent brew with a long soft finish.

Still had some Winter Mixer packs left at The Beer Store. Last one to try and rate of the 4 different ones. Pours a light golden colour that is not filtered to the maximum (which is nice for a lager). Frothy white head, almost creamy, decent retention and good patchy lacing. The taste and aromas are lightly grainy, but with a refreshing mouthfeel, and not too thin. This would be a great lager to give to the mass, who likes the crappy Bud beers and all. I think it is a bridge to the higher micros. Recommended Canadian lager. MarkQ (83) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 25, 2013
Twist off cap on bottle! Fairly average tasting beer. Can’t really say I was blown away. Tastes like a Sleeman’s beer I had eons ago. Probably a good beer for a hot summer day... Hooker (467) - Coquitlam, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 11, 2006
Clear yellow gold colour with thin white head. Mild malt nose with slight yeast hints. Sweet malt taste with mild bitter finish. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - JUN 10, 2013
Clear yellow colour with a thin but complete white head that seems to last. Aroma is grassy, light lemony citrus, and pale malts. Flavour is grassy, mild bitterness, and crisp pale malts. One of the better beers in a very boring style category. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 15, 2009
Bottle. Gold with a light layer of white lasting foam maintained by steady bubbles. Creamy body. Interesting flavour. Hints of corn, cookie and nut.
