Bottle. Nose has a nice hoppiness to it, with some floral notes to it. Taste is slightly bitter and makes for an easy drink, though it’s fairly unremarkable.

650. Pours a clear medium amber with a loose creamy tan head. Bright nose showing sweet caramel and bright fruity hop. Creamy light body with soft carb. Light caramel and fruit mid palate. Not really an esb, but clean and light and drinkable.

22 oz bottle poured with high hopes and expectations for little reason. When did these guys sneak there way to the Seattle area? Had a couple around here from them, but at obscure locations. Cloudy orange copper pour with a thick, lasting foam head. Earthy aroma. Barely sweet caramel flavor. This slowly grew on me. Had a rough time with it at first, but after a long while of sipping on it, it became enjoyable.

Bottle:   Bit of a dirty orange, light carbonation, moderate frothy off-white head, fairly nice lacing.   Soft orange peel and pith on the nose.   Not real biscuity as I would have expected.   Very pale breadiness on the tongue, almost not discernable.   Some pith and peel mainly.   Very soft, with a pithy finish.   Not sure what they were going after here...   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Finishes light, but mainly just some pith and peel.   Not much of an ESB in my book.

650ml brown bottle purchased at the brewery. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma has fruity notes - orangey, tropical, also caramel. Taste has caramel sweetness and toasty malts with tropical fruit notes, citrus. Fruity and hoppy aftertaste. Good.

pictoman (1260) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 4, 2015
Poured from 650mL bottle [batch #2]. Hazy light brown with off-white head. Toffee malt and light resinous hops. As others have mentioned, not really an esb style, but a good beer nonetheless.

Bomber bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a frothy white head. Light hoppy aroma. Taste is hoppy, not really bitter, but lots of flavouring and aromas that appear as it warms up on your tongue. Citrus, pine notes. Warms to a sweet malty undertone. Full-bodied. Finish is a citrus bitterness on a malty sweetness. Pretty good, one of the best ESBs I’ve had.

2.5
Lagerboy (2239) - British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 14, 2014
Bomber. Muddy copper mostly clears, tan foam settles and lasts. Aroma of heavy toffee malt and dank fruity hops. Thicker caramel/toffee malts mostly smother the expected tropical fruity hops, moderate herbal floral bitterness, some wood. Average carbonation, medium bodied, moderately hopped. Not a fan... probably rate higher in winter. NFL (Not for Lagerboys)

Hazy amber, bubbly head, aroma is a bit earthy, touch of fruity sweet, then some biscuity character. Ok, but the hops really lack freshness.
