Bottle 33 cl from Terra Vinea in Morteau (F). Hazy reddish brown, beige foam high and firm, intense and fine degassing. Vinous aroma, caramel, tannin keys, banana, gooseberry and cellar. On the palate, soft, supported by the acidity, beautiful balance with balsamic notes. Medium to full body, with herbs, madeira, toffy and spices. Then bitterness on slightly acid freshness mauricemay (26) - leuven, BELGIUM - MAR 14, 2010

Bottle. Aroma of dark fruits. Malty and fruity flavor. Some caramel. Rather sweetish. Nice beer to drink on a cold winter evening. Abio (1868) - BERMUDA - JAN 31, 2010
UPDATED: JUN 6, 2010 Rich flavoured, for me a big surprise. Bought it on my way home from going to get Westvleteren 12. DruncanVeasey (8239) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 25, 2010
Latest in what’s becoming a bit of dark BSA cellar run. Aroma rye bread dunked in Baltic seawater, bay leaf, clove, Chinese (food), some nectarine. Cherry red with a beige swirl, legs dragging the lace back into the pot. Salvaging raft of wholemeal malts; flavour hanging on by its fingertips in a sea of demerara, cherry-accented booze, Battenberg, liquidised banana cake. The words ’Deca’ and ’Vleteren’ on the side of a Belgian beer bottle excite me, but the contents of this one doesn’t. eManu (547) - Kuala Lumpur & Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 8, 2009
Saddly I lost half of this beer when I openned it, it gushed out of the bottle and I try to stop it but it was gone. So what was left was poured with a dark red brown color with an off white head. Aroma of roasted malts and caramels. Flavors of roasted malts, caramels dry fruits as grapes, some honey, a hint of cinnamon and spices. Low carbonation, and a sweet dry finish. A very pleasant and warm beer.
