COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bright red dark beer with a spicy aroma of cookies, gingerbread and caramel. Also fruity; ripe apples, red fruit, dried fruit, and a little acidity. High fermentation with secondary fermentation in the bottle, unfiltered, not pasteurized.

Bottle, thanks to WeeHeavySD for sharing. Pours a clear dark reddish-amber with a white ring. Sweet aroma, of malt, honey, wood, spices, and squash. Taste is sweet and sparkly, lots of honey, with malt and wood. Lingering sparkly honey. Nice.

[ As Vleteren Dark Old Strong Ale ]. Light unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, dark berry, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
