T42 tasting on me Birfaday. Thanks to Colin. Almost opaque deep brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth semi dry palate. Dry and bitterish dark chocolate malts. Tangy dark fruits. Smooth but bitter finish. A standard impy that differs for being notably bitter.
September 2016 - Bottle share at One Canada Square as ’Deep Ellum Darkest Hour’, 11%. Thanks to Colin. Opaque black with a foamy dense brown head. Aroma is earthy, toasted dark breads, plain chocolate, some coffee. Body is quite light for style, soft carbonation. Taste is plain chocolate, roasted coffee grounds, ashy, touch of booze showing up. Not bad overall. (3.6) Theydon_Bois (19198) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - SEP 7, 2016
