3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a small white head. Aromas are dank, citrusy, spicy, herbal. A little bit of sweet marmalade, a touch sticky and boozy. Flavors are sweet, a bit boozy, floral, pine and sticky resins. A touch fusel. Earthy hop character, a touch spicy, pine. Lively carbonation but a sticky mouthfeel.
Strange cat food-like aroma. Tastes very malty with a slight pine hop finish. Palate is the strong suit, slick and dense. I'm not feeling this one.

Subtle dipa. Lots of mild citrus chew up front changing to pine like flavors. Ends watery. An average easy drinking dipa.

Pours a nice honey color with a thick creamy three finger head that left plenty of lacing around the glass. The aroma is orange peel, very citrusy, pine, and some earthy hops as well. The flavor is similar to the aroma. I pick up the earthy dank hops up front that have quite a bit of kick to it and finishes with strong citrusy and sweeter notes. The rye is there but not overpowering up front. StevieT (2039) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 19, 2016
On tap at Yard House. Lots of earthy spices and biscuit flavour come through, mild hop aroma, slight alcohol warmth.

Can to glass - pours a murky copper with a thick, frothy off white head. Very floral aroma, pine, sweet straw, some citrus zest. Medium bodied. Pine, maybe a little juniper taste, along with toasty caramel malts, notes of booze. A very good double, but nothing to distinguish it from the rest of the good doubles. Temple, Tx - Spec’s Liquor - 12 oz can - very hazy dark orange pour, soft, silky white head that leaves a nice film of lacing. Aroma is overly sweet, but not unpleasant, hints of rising bread, a touch of brown sugar. Flavor leans to the sweet side of the spectrum for a DIPA candied orange slices come to mind, raw cake mix sweetness, some honey notes in the finish. Solidly thick mouthfeel. vtafro (7444) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUL 6, 2016

Can. Pours reddish orange with a good head and nice lacing. Orange marmalade, alcohol, and herbal aromas. Flavor is sticky orange peel and caramel, big flavors with a big finish. Finishes bright with some alcohol heat. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - APR 25, 2016
12-oz can. Thanks, N! Pours a cloudy medium amber with a loose white head. Bright tangy hop nose, nice grapefruit and citric acid combo, also some pepperiness from the grains. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Bright grapefruit tang on the mid palate, also peppery malt notes. Dry finish. Freshness must really matter with this one; it was quite good.
